Developing and maintaining a skilled workforce is a vital component to our region's success in the global market.
Education
The educational institutions in our area are excellent. The challenge, especially in Higher Education, is that all of our institutions are currently at over-capacity, with the need increasing. State funding has fallen behind the accelerating demand. In partnership with our institutions of higher learning and our national and state legislators, the Chamber is focusing on this issue in our Joint Government Affairs Committee.
